Ape Chimba is a multi-instrumental artist and vocalist of a New Era. He is a visionary with a voice that resonates across borders and time. His music is a live channeling of nomadic songs blending the primal with the divine, drawing inspiration from flamenco, indigenous folk songs, sacred chants, shamanic trance, and world electronic music.

His live shows captivates and mystifies the audience conjuring both deep self-reflection and liberating ecstatic dance. Ape offers two types of shows: ( 1 ) "Kwo" Live Ritual Concert and ( 2 ) "Somâ" DJ Live Set

"KWO" LIVE RITUAL CONCERT:

A 1.5 - 2 hour live ritual concert with original songs from Ape's soon to be released album, "Kwo" aswell as unplanned channeled moments. Ape uses instruments from around the world including native flutes and ngoni (African harp) layered with electronic beats and varying supporting musicians (witches and warlocks). This offering is resonant with event venues, music and art festivals, ritual events, and private parties.

"SOMÂ" DJ LIVE SET:

This offering is Ape’s solo DJ live set. With a duration of 1.5-2 hours, Ape builds the songs in real time mixing electronic beats, live looping, and live instruments and vocals. He also layers the tracks live with native flutes and percussion from around the world. This offering is perfect for high intensity on the dance floor.
